About the role

Uniworks Electronic (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Material Control professional to join our warehousing, storage and distribution operations in Prachuap Khiri Khan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management systems. As Material Control, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement, tracking and organisation of materials throughout our distribution facility, ensuring that all stock is properly accounted for and readily available to meet operational demands. This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across all warehouse locations, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock
• Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, ensuring proper documentation and handling procedures are followed
• Maintain accurate material control records and generate reports on inventory status, movement and variances
• Implement and enforce warehouse organisation systems and storage protocols to optimise space utilisation
• Liaise with procurement, operations and logistics teams to ensure material availability and supply chain continuity
• Identify and report opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in material handling and storage
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards within the warehouse environment
• Train and supervise warehouse staff on proper material handling, storage and documentation procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-5 years of experience in material control, warehouse management or inventory management roles
• Proven expertise in inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in record-keeping and inventory reconciliation
• Experience in logistics or distribution operations within the manufacturing or electronics industry is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across different departments
• Problem-solving capability and proactive approach to identifying and resolving material control issues
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation is advantageous
