Material Controller/Procurement Assistant

Assist in small local procurement: · Prepare material request form, coordinate with Procurement for PO and payment. · Pick up materials at suppliers. · Keep tracking file of all site procurement. · Liaise with local suppliers. · Check and replenish safety stock of consumables. · Record all back-charge to Subcontractor (running bill file). Monitor material movement: · Track and record all logistics movement (in/out, storage location, handover to subcontractors) in Excel or software. · Implement measures to prevent materials damage or theft. · Help for material inspection (crate opening, closing, handling of materials, etc). · Assist in material delivery inspections. · Provide updates for weekly reports (% of material delivered, storage areas allocation, etc). · Prepare site storage layout and traffic management plan. · Ensure timely availability of materials for smooth construction operation. No construction delay due to material shortage, and suitable level of stock (space availability, avoid long term storage, prevent overstocking, etc). Manage safety stock. · Monitor handling, storage, movement of all Suez materials (equipment, bulk items, consumables, spare parts). · Track all movement in/out, storage location, handover to subcontractors, etc in Excel material tracker. · Ensure all documents are saved on Sharepoint. · Follow HSE procedures.
