Material Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and logistics of materials essential to our production processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless supply chain operations, optimize inventory levels, and support manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate materials procurement using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules.
• Oversee inventory control through logistics inventory management and inventory management systems, maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Support production planning and demand forecasting by providing accurate materials data and facilitating supply chain management strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory movements using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office tools.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to support lean manufacturing initiatives and optimize materials flow within the warehouse.
• Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to uphold inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in materials management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other inventory management software.
• Extensive knowledge of logistics, procurement, purchasing, and demand planning processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing company operations, including production scheduling and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and logistics personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Warehouse experience combined with understanding of inventory control systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $29.05 per hour
