Material Ctrl Coordinator-HG

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate/perform Cycle counts on raw materials/Components, labels…etc. using ABC Analysis
• Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
• Receive and store labels, stage labels, return labels
• Audit process orders
• Clear COGI’s
• Work with auditors as needed during formal audits
• Confirmation of Process orders as needed
• Provide back up to front desk as needed
• Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.
• Review cycle count variances for root cause and implement corrective actions
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders Ensures accurate material transfer transactions to plant
• Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person.
• Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
• Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Conduct all business with integrity.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 1 or more year experience of industry-related work preferred but not required
• Ability to accurately read and enter computer data
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to consistently lift 70 pounds Ability to perform month end duties requiring some evening work

Additional Consideration Given to Those With:

• Paint/Coatings/chemical industry knowledge or experience
• Experience with a continuous process discipline such as Six Sigma/Lean/TQM manufacturing environment. Previous experience with safety programs

Job Type: Full-time

Targeted Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $28.00 gain share eligible

Work Location: In person
