Material Engineer- Asphalt

• Supervise and monitor asphalt pavement construction activities.
• Oversee asphalt laying, surface preparation, compaction and finishing.
• Develop and monitor rolling patterns to achieve required density.
• Review asphalt mix designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with asphalt plants for material production and delivery.
• Monitor asphalt temperature, thickness, levels, density and compaction.
• Coordinate with consultants, laboratories, contractors and site teams.
• Monitor material testing and maintain quality records.
• Identify material deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare quality reports and support resolution of material-related issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant UAE experience in asphalt pavement, roads or highway construction.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt laying and paving processes.
• Hands-on experience in rolling pattern setup and compaction.
• Experience in asphalt mix design evaluation and material testing.
• Strong understanding of asphalt production, transportation and paving temperatures.
• Experience working with consultants and laboratories.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and quality procedures.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners will be highly preferred.
