Material Engineer (Construction)

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for material incoming inspection, warehousing, outbound management, warehouse management, and on-site consumption control;

2. Customs clearance, tax exemption applications, local procurement, and logistics coordination of project materials;

3. Coordinate with subcontractors for material requisition management, standardize subcontracting material requisition procedures, verify the usage of subcontracted materials, and properly retain basic data for material settlement;

4. Complete other tasks assigned by the project department.

Job Specification

1. At least 2 years of experience in material procurement-related work;

2. Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office;

3. Familiar with Indonesian customs, material import, taxation, and local material management policies; implements compliance requirements for import/export and warehousing to avoid risks in overseas material management;

4. Be familiar with the project material and equipment management process, procurement and leasing procedures, and master the names, specifications, quantities, and quality of the main materials needed to ensure material supply at the construction site.

5. English communication skills; Chinese proficiency is preferred;

6. Work conscientiously and responsibly, able to adapt to the project site work environment, and comply with project work arrangements.

7. Willing to work in remote area.
