MATERIAL EXECUTIVE

About the role
Koda Woodcraft Sdn Bhd is looking for a Material Executive to support our manufacturing operations in Senai, Johor. This full-time role is responsible for planning and controlling material flow, inventory accuracy and warehouse operations to ensure materials are available to support production and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimise shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate the receiving, storage and issuing of materials to support production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain material-related documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Production and Shipping Departments to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor incoming material deliveries and follow up on any supply issues.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged or obsolete materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management or the immediate superior.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, warehouse operations or a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, MRP and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices is an added advantage.
• Candidates who can commence work on short notice will have an added advantage.
