Material Flow & Lineside Planner

Your tasks

• Separate planning and development of logistics structure and material flow concepts
• Development & optimization of logistical concepts and decision documents with all planning partners considering cost-effectiveness and process safety
• Optimization of material flows in consideration of lean production and lean logistics
• Economic assessment of alternative concepts
• Assessing necessary investments and action plans to integrate new products into current infrastructures
• Planning and update of logistics layouts
• Coordinating and monitoring projects across technical departments, process partners, and international suppliers.

Your profile

• Successfully completed technical or business degree in the fields of Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar field
• Experience in material flow planning, warehouse planning or supermarket planning in the automotive industry
• Profound experience with the analysis and optimization of supply chains
• Knowledge of Lean Methodologies
• Technical knowledge about different potential line supply methods and technologies
• Project management experience
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Visio
• Sound knowledge of MicroStation
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience in time studies and MTM
• Business fluent in English

-Pay negotiable based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
