Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in managing warehouse distribution activities, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain inventory accuracy and uphold safety standards across our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment using RF scanners and manual handling techniques
• Operate heavy equipment safely following OSHA safety protocols to move large or heavy materials
• Manage inventory levels through proper documentation and inventory management systems
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety procedures

Experience

• Prior warehouse distribution or warehouse experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management systems
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and heavy lifting tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA regulations for materials handling and heavy equipment operation
• Experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing warehouse operations is a plus
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing are required

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
