Job Summary

As a Material Handler, you will serve as the operational backbone and logistical air traffic control of our manufacturing facility. You are responsible for safely receiving, staging, and systematically distributing raw materials and finished goods to various conversion lines throughout the plant and warehouse. This is not just a moving job—it requires a high level of critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and precise data management. You will need to seamlessly integrate physical material movement with our digital tracking systems to eliminate operational bottlenecks, minimize production downtime, and ensure 100% inventory accuracy.

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

· Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks, including standard forklifts, clamp trucks, and box clamps.

· Efficient ERP System Execution: Deeply learn, master, and utilize our Global Shop ERP system daily. Execute transactions effectively and efficiently to track, move, issue, and locate raw materials and finished goods systematically, ensuring digital records perfectly match physical inventory.

· Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Actively anticipate production needs rather than just waiting for instructions. Monitor multiple conversion lines, evaluate workflow pacing, and use sound judgment to solve logistical constraints before they cause machine downtime.

· Material Logistics: Transport various types of bulk and palletized loads securely throughout the facility; execute complete pre-operational inspections to ensure proper machinery readiness.

· Safety & Standardized Work: Adhere strictly to all organizational health, safety, and operational protocols. Maintain a completely neat, organized, and clean workspace daily.

· Continuous Improvement: Actively identify process constraints, investigate inventory discrepancies, and collaborate across all levels of production to implement lean, sustainable solutions.
