Material Handler 2nd Shift

Position: Material Handler

Pay: Based on experience, starting at $23/hour

Work Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm plus overtime as scheduled.

Reports to: QA Director

As a Material Handler, you will be joining a dynamic team at a growing manufacturing company as one of the most critical production roles at the business. You will be responsible for the shipping and receiving parts for shipment. This is a hands-on, fast paced shop floor position that has a lot of variety day-to-day. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Packaging and banding products for truck line & parcel shipments
• Counting and weighing parts for shipping
• Receiving and verifying incoming products
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Keeping work area clean, organizing warehouse and rotating stock
• Driving company vehicle for local stops
• Performs physical inventory
• Assist Finishing and Die Cast departments with product movement
• Assist Quality department with required part inspections and dock audits

A successful candidate should have some prior manufacturing experience in a factory environment. Die casting or foundry experience a plus but not required. You will be standing, lifting, and working in varying temperatures in a machine shop and foundry. Attention to quality and following work instructions is very important. The candidate must be willing to learn, follow the directions of a supervisor, and work cooperatively with other team members A valid Wisconsin drivers license is required . A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required. Safety is our #1 priority.
