Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Duties

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual handling techniques to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and order pickers to move large or bulky items safely within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety guidelines during all warehouse activities.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
• Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to warehouse operations standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments.
• Ability to operate forklift trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, crane equipment, and other heavy machinery safely.
• Familiarity with order picking processes using RF scanners and basic math skills for inventory calculations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing warehouse distribution tasks is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform manual handling tasks efficiently throughout shifts.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
