Michelman is seeking a Material Handler / CDL Driver to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This role combines warehouse operations, material handling, and CDL driving responsibilities to ensure products and materials are moved safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our facilities and distribution network.

What You'll Do

• Shuttle finished goods between Michelman facilities and distribution centers
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Verify shipping paperwork and ensure order accuracy
• Schedule carrier pickups and support daily shipping activities
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse organization
• Follow established safety, quality, and shipping procedures
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

QualificationsRequired

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to meet DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to pass DOT-required drug screening
• Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or handheld devices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• HazMat endorsement
• Forklift experience
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling operations
• One or more years of related experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday
• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment
