Material Handler

Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual handling techniques
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and load & unload machinery to move large or heavy items efficiently
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper documentation in warehouse management systems
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA standards during all warehouse activities
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against orders and preparing items for dispatch
• Organize warehouse space by stacking pallets, arranging materials, and ensuring clear pathways for safe movement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred
• Familiarity with order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and best practices in warehouse environments
• Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and data entry tasks
• Prior experience supervising or coordinating warehouse activities is a plus but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
