Material Handler

Brief Description Rise Modular, LLC (Rise) is a full volumetric modular manufacturing company serving the multi-family apartment, hospitality, student housing and affordable housing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Management:

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.

• Ensure materials are delivered to the correct production areas on time.

• Manage inventory levels to support continuous production flow.

• Inventory Control:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Monitor and report low stock levels, initiating reorder processes as needed.

• Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies for timely delivery of materials.

• Prepare and package materials for shipment as needed.

• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials.

• Operational Support:

• Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and priorities.

• Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to optimize material flow.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.

• Equipment Operation:

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

• This position requires working in a manufacturing facility, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• The role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
