Material Handler

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is new to the workforce or looking to build valuable workplace experience.

As a Material Handler, you will help keep materials, products, and supplies organized and moving safely throughout the workplace. Your day-to-day work may include receiving and organizing materials, preparing items for shipment, keeping work areas clean, and helping team members with basic material-handling tasks.

No previous experience is required. We provide the training and guidance needed to learn the job and succeed in the role. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage anyone who is dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work as part of a team to apply.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, organize, and store materials and products.
• Prepare materials and products for shipment or delivery.
• Pick and pack items according to instructions.
• Label and identify materials as needed.
• Keep materials organized so they can be located easily.
• Help load and unload deliveries safely.
• Move materials between designated areas of the workplace.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of unnecessary clutter.
• Follow basic safety procedures and workplace instructions.
• Check materials for obvious damage or missing items and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Work with team members to complete daily tasks.
• Follow instructions and ask questions when something is unclear.
• Perform other basic material-handling duties as assigned.
• Participate in training and learn the procedures needed for the position.

Pay: $23.83 - $25.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
