Material Handler

Duties

• Safely load and unload materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and heavy equipment
• Pick and prepare orders accurately with RF scanners for timely shipment fulfillment
• Organize inventory through proper storage techniques, ensuring materials are easily accessible and well-maintained
• Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to OSHA safety protocols
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for quality
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and load & unload machinery following safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using warehouse management systems and manual logs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related warehouse operations
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling machinery
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and shipping & receiving procedures
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with RF scanners, basic math skills for inventory counting, and warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience or warehouse experience is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
