Shift: 2nd (3:00 PM-11:00 PM) Monday-Friday

Job Summary The Material Handler role is responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate movement of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Organize and maintain inventory levels
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when handling materials
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Partner with operators and cell leaders to move materials to and from production cells to create continual production.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities on all supplies
• Ensure all supply inventory is in the correct locations
• Help on Production lines as time permits
• Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer specifications
• Participate in efficiency improvements throughout the plant
• All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement/Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3 – 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be able to read, write and understand basic math.
• 1+ years of forklift driving experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge or Plex ERP system and inventory transactions.
• Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements.
• Strong Quality mindset and a drive for perfection.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
