Material Handler

Role Description: The Material Handler’s main responsibility is to prepare and fulfill internal customer orders in a timely and organized fashion while maintaining the organization and quality controls of the company warehouse. This includes operation of a non-CDL box truck to transfer raw materials to production and finished goods to the fulfillment warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fulfill internal customer orders:

o Drive/Load and Unload Daily Truck Transfers of Finished product from production facility and raw materials going to production facility

o Build and transfer orders safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper inventory turnover

o Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently

o Communicate daily with Production manager and Logistics manager on transfer status

o Arrange/Package Sales Samples

• Open and Close Distribution Center as assigned

• Safe and timely operation of non-CLD box truck

• Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently

• Ensure warehouse is manned and secured during assigned hours

• Safely operate box truck, powered industrial equipment, pallet wrapper and other necessary equipment for efficient fulfillment of internal and external customer orders.

• Assist manager with inventory tracking and counting

• Accurate and efficient Preparation of Amazon shipments

• Accurate and efficient Staging and material handling of raw materials plus finished goods in company warehouses

• Assist production with line operating tasks as assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Facility maintenance of distribution warehouse, includes but not limited to (trash, recycle, kitchen, restroom)

• Accurate and efficient Preparation of Amazon shipments

• Other duties as assigned

Other Skills:

• Valid Colorado Driver’s License required, including the ability to demonstrate good driving record via DMV check

• Forklift certification required

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to count accurately and efficiently

• Computer and Microsoft Office Experience Required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

• Must be able to walk, stand and lift for majority of work shift

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
