Material Handler

Compensation: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Role Overview: We are looking for a reliable Material Handler to assist with daily warehouse tasks, including the precise picking, stocking, and movement of inventory. By keeping our storage areas organized and ensuring materials are ready for production, you will help maintain a smooth and efficient workflow within our facility.

Primary Duties

• Select and confirm items required for production tasks.
• Transport goods between storage areas, production zones, and the warehouse floor.
• Ensure production teams receive necessary bulk materials, pails, and drums in a timely manner.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking finished goods in designated areas.
• Support a tidy workspace by keeping shelves clean and clearly labeled.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse area.
• Handle various additional tasks and assignments as requested.

Required Skills and Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred for this role.
• Prior background in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous material handling is considered an asset.
• Demonstrate the physical capability to lift loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability while working effectively with the team.

Physical Demands

• Regularly perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Capable of carrying and lifting items ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, drum dollies, and pallet jacks to transport heavy items.
• Maintain comfort while working in a standard warehouse setting.

Important Details

Because this role is classified as safety-sensitive, all candidates must successfully pass a 5-panel drug screen, which includes testing for marijuana.
