Material Handler

American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is seeking full-time Material Handlers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid KY driver’s license or ability to obtain in 30 days
• Forklift certification
• Standup Forklift
• 2 years related experience in manufacturing environment
• Must be task-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet departmental and team members’ needs
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Stock lines with raw material and empty totes; move finished product to storage
• Loading and unloading of product from trucks, In some cases by hand
• Scanning Materials or products for shipping
• Use of PC to create shipping documentation
• Maintain FIFO in FG and raw material
• Prep and cycle counting for inventory
• Assist, support continuous improvement and learn manufacturing processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 180 lbs.(with buddy system)
• Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
• Bending, pushing, pulling may be required daily
• This position will primarily be inside an industrial manufacturing facility, but there may be periods when work is required to be done outside.

Pay Rate:

Starting from $16.50 (based on experience and qualifications)

Open Positions:

1st shift, Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

2nd shift, Monday - Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm

3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am

Overtime may be required for any shift.
