Material Handler

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, and transporting raw materials throughout the Doors facility in Beresford, South Dakota. This role plays an important part in keeping materials organized and ensuring production has the supplies needed to operate efficiently. Responsibilities include operating a forklift, verifying incoming shipments, accurately counting and recording materials, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and receiving area. Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

What We're Looking For

• Forklift Experience: Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Material Handling: Ability to safely operate a forklift and move materials throughout the facility.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify wood species, accurately count materials, and record shipment information.
• Communication: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate professionally with coworkers.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50–75 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level.
• Driving Record: Must maintain a good driving record.

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM until production is complete, no later than 5:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
