Material Handler (Day Shift)

Our customers span grocery, private label, mass market, prestige, premium direct selling and export channels, with NBC-manufactured products available across all major Australian retail and professional outlets, including grocery, pharmacy, salons, spas and skin clinics.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Casual Material Handler to join our team on day shift. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment, supporting production operations and ensuring materials and products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with materials and components in line with production schedules.
• Load, unload, move and store materials using walkie stackers and automated pallet jacks.
• Transfer finished goods and excess materials between production and warehouse areas.
• Use of an RF scanner for material handling tasks, including but not limited to stock movements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Assist with end-of-day production line preparation and general warehouse duties.
• Report equipment issues, material shortages and safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, quality and operational procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and using RF scanners.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Reliable, self-motivated and safety-focused approach to work.
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
• Able to safely undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving stock/materials as required.

Qualifications

• Walkie stacker and auto pallet jack experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
• High Reach Forklift Licence is not essential but highly regarded.
