Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and equipment handling to support our distribution and logistics functions.

Responsibilities

Deliver the correct parts and part amounts to specified location; accurately document the transfer of parts in ROL’s computer system; maintain schedule for continued manufacturing

Inspect the fork-lift for safety purposes before and after shift; operate fork-lift according to safety practices and company protocol

Load parts onto pallets to feed the robot; position the metal pallet onto the robot area

Input correct information, on the transfer of parts, into the computer program

Assist other departments when needed; cross train in other material handling roles to be available to assist

Prepare paperwork for next order, upon request

Partake in company initiatives such as 6S and ISO to create better efficiency of work flow

Maintain a personal work area and help clean Mill area during slow times

Attend department and company meetings

Any other duties/tasks assigned by management

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

• material handler: 2 years (Preferred)
• Hi-Lo: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• forklift operator certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Holland, MI 49423 (Required)
