The company has headquarters in Chicago and New York City and operates 4 manufacturing plants in Little Chute, WI; Brookings, SD; Traverse City, MI; and Nampa, ID. #IWorkForAllForGood Job Title: Raw Materials Material Handler Location: Nampa, ID This position is for C shift - Thursday through Sunday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00am - 7:00pm. Job Summary The Raw Materials Material Handler is responsible for the timely movement of all materials within a designated location. This position is also responsible for tracking movement of materials within the computerized systems to ensure proper inventory availability.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.
• Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
• Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.
• Load/unload 53 foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors
• Shipping and receiving of products and materials
• Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system
• Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift
• Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.
• Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours
• Utilize company operating systems and digital tools, including POKA, Fabriq, DigiDocs, and similar platforms, to support production, documentation, and operational communication.
• Demonstrate the Company’s values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift - 12 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to get on and off of a forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift
• Must be able to tolerate climate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.

Education

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical / Trade School preferred

Experience

• Prior forklift/material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience working in the food industry is preferred

Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
• Ability to plan work and anticipate problems
• Computer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)
• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)
