Material Handler – Weigh Room

Role: Senior Material Handler / Weigh Room Attendant

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials to support production in a food and nutrition facility.
• Verify labels and documentation, ensuring data accuracy in both paper and digital systems.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and safety protocols to maintain compliance and safety standards.
• Load and unload materials, report damages, and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized weigh room environment.
• Provide guidance and support to peers and collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and data entry.
• Knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide mentorship to team members.
• Organizational skills to keep the weigh room clean and efficient.
