Role Summary

London Stone Co. is London Ontario's fastest growing Granite, Marble, Quartz, Quartzite, Onyx, and Semi-Precious Countertops stone fabricators, with a dedicated team of industry professionals.

We are looking for a Material Handler/CNC Operator to join our team! If you’re a detail-oriented, hands-on individual, looking for full-time work in a friendly, respectful, dynamic environment – keep reading.

Responsibilities:

• Unload/load stone from transport trucks using forklift and extension boom in a safe manner
• Spot material movements using clear communication skills (verbal/visual)
• Organize & document inventory
• Stage material for processing
• Operate overhead crane
• Follow all safety regulations when operating forklift and/or crane
• Accepting and processing of incoming stock and materials
• Clean and maintain shop
• Help machine operators unload/load machines when not busy
• Heavy lifting is required
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating fork truck is a must
• Current forklift certificate a strong asset, not a requirement
• Good planning and time management skills
• Attention to detail

• Solid interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Strong communication skills

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
