Material Handling Associate

Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Operate RF scanners for accurate inventory management and order picking
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatches and arrivals
• Conduct manual handling of materials, including heavy lifting, following proper safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards
• Manage inventory levels by organizing stock in designated warehouse areas and updating records accurately
• Use basic math skills to verify quantities, measure materials, and perform related calculations during order processing
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, safety checks, and adhering to all safety procedures

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments preferred
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane operation is highly desirable
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanner technology
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Experience with shipping & receiving processes and materials handling procedures
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for manual handling in a warehouse setting
• Previous supervisory experience or familiarity with warehouse supervision is a plus but not required

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
