What they need
Material Handling Systems Engineer
MechCore is looking for an engineer to help design material handling systems for customers in the parcel and distribution industries.
What You’ll Do
- Design conveyor, sortation and related material handling systems
- Turn customer drawings and requirements into concepts and detailed designs
- Prepare drawings, bills of material and project documentation
- Visit customer sites and take part in customer meetings
- Help mentor newer engineers and contribute to ongoing improvements
- Deliver designs on schedule to customers and suppliers
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with material handling or conveyor systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally
Details
Job type: Full-time
Location: Remote (United States), with occasional travel
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Pay: $95,000–$130,000 per year
