The Role

The Material Manager will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials at the yard. This role requires close coordination with the procurement and project teams to ensure timely material availability, accurate inventory management, and efficient yard operations.

What we are looking for:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 4–5 years of experience in material management, store management, or inventory control
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and MS Excel
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently at the yard site
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
• Organize and store materials in designated yard locations
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, inventory, and material movement
• Issue materials as per project requirements and update stock registers
• Coordinate with the procurement team for material requirements and replenishment
• Conduct regular stock audits and report inventory discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation of all material transactions
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of storage areas
• Follow safety procedures during material handling and storage
