Material Manager (m/f/d)

What We Are Looking For Location: On-site, at our headquarters in Mediaș, Sibiu County. This is a full-time, office-based position — remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

• Monitoring and ensuring material availability to support production and project schedules
• Tracking delivery dates and coordinating material requirements with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Managing material planning activities and maintaining accurate master data in SAP
• Monitoring inventory levels and supporting material demand planning
• Coordinating with Procurement, Logistics, Production and Project Management to ensure uninterrupted material flow
• Preparing and analyzing reports related to material availability, shortages and delivery performance
• Supporting the identification and resolution of material supply issues and implementing corrective actions
• Monitoring procurement and material-related milestones to ensure project deadlines are achieved

What Qualifications You Should Have

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field of study
• Professional experience in Material Management, Material Planning, Supply Chain or Production Planning, preferably in manufacturing, automotive or defense industry
• Good understanding of material planning, inventory management and production processes
• SAP knowledge is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Willingness to business travel if required
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Romanian; German language skills are considered an advantage
