Material Planner

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure material delivery per commitment
• Sustain the required Week Of Inventory
• Timely material ordering to avoid delays that may affect production builds
• Closely work with Purchasing on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery
• Inform Production Planner for any changes in delivery/shipment commit

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in BSIE or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Procurement or Material Planning (functional skills)

Skills

• Microsoft literate
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Knowledgeable in PDCA, RCCA, 8D
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
• Oracle background is an advantage
