Material Planner

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM)

2. Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy

3. Determining the required materials and generating purchase requistions.

4. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery

from supplier

4. Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends

5. Prepare Forecast of Raw Material to all suppliers

6. Review Purchase Requisitions on a daily basis for accuracy and timely conversion into Purchase Orders

7. Monitor and trend supplier delivery performance

8. Creating an inventory schedule as per the requirements

9. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes pull in, push out and cancellations.

10. Generate and share the shortage report, Purchase requisition, Clear to build, Excess and Obsolete and Inventory Aging

11. Participating in MRB review meeting, identify the supply risk and Mitigation plan

12. Participating in team meetings to discuss improvements in processes and productivity

Qualifications

Desired Experience Level

6 to 9 years

• 6-9 years of experience in a similar role within the auto components industry.
• Strong understanding of BOM preparation, bill of materials, bom creation, MRP systems.
• Proven track record in managing complex supply chains and optimizing inventory levels.
