About The Role What the job is, in plain words.

As our Materials & Procurement Coordinator, you’ll source every material and fitting a Belong home needs, from plywood and hardware to tiles, stone and lighting. You’ll make sure the right thing reaches the right site on the right day, at a fair price.

You’ll build and look after our circle of suppliers and makers, gather and compare quotes honestly, raise purchase orders and chase deliveries. When materials arrive, you’ll check them: right shade, right batch, right count.

You’ll work closely with our designers, who choose, the Site Supervisor, who needs it tomorrow, and the founders, who watch the budget. You’ll also keep our sample library tidy and inspiring.

• Build our supplier circleFind, check and look after suppliers and makers we can trust.
• Compare quotes fairlyGather quotes, compare like with like, and keep costs open.
• Raise and chase ordersPlace purchase orders and follow deliveries, gently but firmly.
• Check what arrivesRight shade, right batch, right count, before anything reaches site.
• Keep the tracker trueKeep an order tracker the whole team can rely on, so nobody has to ask.
• Look after samplesKeep our sample library tidy, current and inspiring.

A Tuesday, roughly

• 10:00Three quotes for quartz. You spot the one that left out edge polishing.
