Materials Control Manager

About the role

This role involves managing and overseeing procurement, production planning, and warehouse operations. You will manage raw material purchasing and purchase orders to ensure sufficient supply for production, coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth operations and meet plans and lead cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and approve raw material purchasing and PO to ensure sufficient supply for production
• Oversee Procurement, Production Planning, and Warehouse operations
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth operations and meet plans
• Plan and implement Cost Down / Cost Control activities
• Improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency
• Lead, develop, and monitor team performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Chinese, or related fields
• 8–10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/management role
• Good command of Chinese (HSK 4 or above) and working English
• At least 5 years of procurement experience; warehouse and production planning experience is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Knowledge of Cost Control / P&L, Audit, APQP, and IATF/TS16949
• Basic knowledge of engineering and quality systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good planning, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills
