Materials Engineer/ Laboratory Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction materials testing and laboratory work.
• Experience in hydropower or major infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experienced in testing and inspecting sand, gravel, aggregates, concrete, cement, soil, and other construction materials.
• Knowledgeable in sampling, testing, and evaluating construction materials according to project specifications and applicable Philippine standards.
• Experienced in conducting laboratory and field tests and preparing test reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and construction material quality control is required.
• QA/QC experience or certification is highly preferred.
• Familiar with DPWH specifications and applicable ASTM/AASHTO testing standards.
• Able to operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment and instruments.
• Able to review test results and determine whether materials meet the required specifications.
• Able to prepare and maintain material testing reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willing to work on-site and in remote/project-based locations.
