What they need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction materials testing and laboratory work.
- Experience in hydropower or major infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experienced in testing and inspecting sand, gravel, aggregates, concrete, cement, soil, and other construction materials.
- Knowledgeable in sampling, testing, and evaluating construction materials according to project specifications and applicable Philippine standards.
- Experienced in conducting laboratory and field tests and preparing test reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and construction material quality control is required.
- QA/QC experience or certification is highly preferred.
- Familiar with DPWH specifications and applicable ASTM/AASHTO testing standards.
- Able to operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment and instruments.
- Able to review test results and determine whether materials meet the required specifications.
- Able to prepare and maintain material testing reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willing to work on-site and in remote/project-based locations.
