About the Role

Supersede is seeking an experienced, hands-on Materials Engineering Manager to lead materials development, testing, and process optimization within our innovative recycled plastics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in plastics, polymer science, extrusion processes, and materials engineering , with demonstrated experience improving material performance, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

This position will oversee material characterization, formulation development, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams. The successful candidate must possess strong problem-solving abilities, technical leadership skills, and practical experience working with polymer processing, recycled plastics, and extrusion equipment.

Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in plastics manufacturing, polymer materials, extrusion technology, and materials testing. Previous leadership or management experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
