Responsabilidades

Lead material handling and inventory control activities on the production floor. Supervise material handlers and cycle counters to ensure timely material availability, accurate inventory records, and proper material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of raw materials and MRO supplies to production lines based on the production schedule and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Supervise daily cycle counts, validate results, and follow up on inventory discrepancies.
• Work closely with Production and Planning to anticipate material needs and help prevent line stoppages.
• Control material quantities on the production floor according to each part number’s standard pack quantity (SPQ), avoiding excess stock.
• Coordinate the preparation of finished goods for shipment, including wrapping, labeling, and material transfer documentation.
• Ensure material handlers and cycle counters follow company procedures for material handling, inventory control, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
• Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, material traceability, and inventory trends in production.

Requisitos

• Experience in material handling, inventory control, or production supply within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or coordinating material handlers, cycle counters, or similar operational teams.
• Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems, BOMs, and cycle counting processes.
• Basic Excel skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize material needs and resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in cable assembly manufacturing is a plus.
