Materials Manager

We are seeking a Materials Management Supervisor to join International Motors’ growing San Antonio manufacturing operation. Our plant is a 1-million-square-foot smart factory built to produce Class 6–8 conventional and electric medium-duty vehicles. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys developing teams, solving supply chain challenges, and keeping materials moving efficiently to support production. A key part of your responsibility will be maintaining a reliable flow of materials throughout the manufacturing operation.

As International Motors continues to expand its San Antonio production operations, the facility is introducing a night production shift. This onsite position will initially work the Day Shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and will be required to transition to the Night Shift in mid-2027. The Night Shift schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with a 10% shift differential provided upon transition to the Night Shift schedule.

You will lead a team of materials planners responsible for product demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and shortage mitigation. You will oversee daily staffing and attendance, assign resources based on production needs, and help ensure employees have the appropriate tools and personal protective equipment to perform their work safely and effectively. You will also monitor operating conditions, identify potential disruptions, and escalate issues to the Materials Planning Business Unit Manager when necessary.
