Overall Job Function

Planning and overall management of subcontract, in house and development jobs. Management of all NCS and quarantined components and sub-assemblies.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12, with at least 3 – 5 years working experience within a manufacturing environment with multiple complex operation, and a relevant tertiary qualification or discipline.
• Proven knowledge and experience:
• working with a MRP system (Syspro / SAP)
• supply chain principles, supplier management; OTD (on time delivery)
• AS; ISO standards
• QMS
• Exceptional attention to detail with a thorough approach to work.
• Strong planning, organizing and coordinating skills.
• Good judgement and decision making informed by critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
• Performance-driven and results-orientated with a relentless drive to succeed.
• Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal & written) skills.
• A strong can-do attitude and an energetic positive approach.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning and overall management of jobs to support building schedules.
• The creation of jobs and running of job releases.
• Management of un-planned material allocations.
• Track and manage non-conforming stock transactions.
• Conducting regular management of quarantine warehouse stock.
• Managing development jobs and ensuring component availability.
• Continuous improvement
