Job Overview
Provide maternity cover as an Associate Dentist, delivering patient-centred dental care and supporting continuity of treatment. Taking over an established list and seeing new patients.
Mixed NHS and Private
Days: Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wednesday 9am-6pm, Thursday 9am-6pm
Start Date: January 2027
UDA Rate: £13/UDA
Private: 50%
Lab: 50%
Opportunity for permanent position after the maternity cover
Duties
- Examine patients, diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Carry out general dental procedures and refer patients when specialist care is needed.
- Use imaging to support assessment and treatment planning - digital xrays and intraoral imaging
- Maintain accurate records and follow clinical and infection-control protocols.
Requirements
- Relevant dental qualification and registration to practice in the UK.
- Indemnity
- DBS cleared
- Strong and sound clinical judgement.
- Communicate with empathy and work effectively with the wider dental team.
Pay: £70,000.00-£150,000.00 per year
