Math & English Teacher

We’re looking for enthusiastic teachers and tutors to help students strengthen their math and English skills in Deer Park. Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, and able to make lessons engaging while building students’ confidence.

Applicants must be available to work from 2:30 p.m. onward.

Responsibilities

• Provide math and English instruction tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
• Prepare engaging lessons and support students with homework, coursework, and test preparation.
• Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress.
• Use educational resources and technology to support learning.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience in math and/or English.
• Strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills.
• Patience and the ability to work with students of different ages and abilities.
• Strong organization and classroom management skills.
• Experience with science tutoring, SAT preparation, or special education is a plus.
• Availability from 2:30 p.m. onward is required.
