Math Mastery School is looking for a passionate and engaging Math Enrichment Instructor to join our growing academic team in Oakville.

This role is ideal for:

• University students or graduates in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Education, or related fields
• Teacher candidates
• Experienced tutors
• Individuals with strong mathematical thinking and excellent communication skills

About the Program

Math Mastery School goes beyond traditional tutoring. Our students develop deep conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence.

We focus on:

• Advanced problem solving
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Mental math strategies
• Confidence and independence in mathematics
• Enrichment beyond the standard Ontario curriculum

Position Details

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM teaching hours

In addition, instructors receive:

• 1 paid preparation hour daily
• Curriculum guidance and teaching support
• Prepared lesson materials and resources
• Small group classes
• Supportive and collaborative environment

Compensation

$35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours:

10-20 per week

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical background
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently
• Reliable, professional, and organized
• Positive and engaging personality
• Enjoys working with children
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset but not required
