- 11:00 AM–12:00 PM — Grade 5
Each group will include approximately 10 students.
On designated monthly STEM enrichment Saturdays, the regular tutoring schedule may be replaced by Academy-wide STEM programming.

- Differentiate instruction for students with varying skill levels and learning needs.
- Incorporate hands-on activities, problem solving, discussion, and other strategies that make mathematics engaging and accessible.
- Help students develop mathematical confidence and become more comfortable explaining their thinking and problem-solving process.
- Conduct brief knowledge checks and document student progress throughout the program.
- Collaborate with Black SONs staff and the Academy’s Math Curriculum & Academic Support team.
- Communicate concerns about student progress or support needs to Academy leadership.
- Help create a positive Saturday learning environment in which students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

- Experience interpreting and using i-Ready diagnostic and progress-monitoring data.
- Strong classroom management and small-group instructional skills.
- Experience differentiating instruction for students performing at different academic levels.
- An ability to make mathematics engaging, relevant, and approachable.
