Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver compelling lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for English and Math subjects
• Engage students through interactive teaching methods that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, respect, and enthusiasm for learning
• Incorporate technology and computer skills to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to tailor instruction for students with diverse needs, including those in special education programs
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in accordance with school policies

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings
• Strong knowledge of English language arts, literature, and Math concepts
• Effective classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate students
• Proficiency with computer skills, including educational software and online learning platforms
• Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learners
• Background in teaching or tutoring Math and English at various grade levels or age groups
• Knowledge of computer science principles can be an added advantage for integrating tech-based learning tools

Salary range dependent on qualification/ability, subject to growth.

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
