Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, motivating, and tailored math instruction across a variety of topics including algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, and differential equations.
• Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with each student’s learning style and objectives.
• Utilize innovative learning technology and online instruction tools to enhance engagement and comprehension.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and academic assessments through targeted test preparation tutoring.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive learning environment for students of different ages and backgrounds.
• Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, or educational coordinators to ensure student success and address any learning challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching math at various levels, including classroom management and working with students of different ages, especially teenagers and children.
• Strong knowledge of core math subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, chemical engineering principles, electrical engineering concepts, data structures, machine learning fundamentals, and early childhood education.
• Ability to develop engaging curriculum content through curriculum development skills and lesson planning expertise.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and computer skills necessary for online instruction.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
• Experience working with children or adults in educational settings; familiarity with special education or classroom experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students' needs simultaneously while maintaining classroom or virtual environment discipline.
• Passion for education and helping students succeed through innovative teaching methods and personalized support.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
