Mathematics Teacher

Mō te tūranga: About the role

• Passionate about inspiring learners and helping every student reach their potential in Mathematics and Statistics
• Confident teaching Mathematics and Statistics from Years 7 to 13, including delivery of the New Zealand Curriculum within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
• Committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment within a collaborative Faculty culture
• Available to start in Term 1, 2026

We offer students dual qualification pathways with both NCEA and the International Baccalaureate. IB teaching experience is welcomed, but training and support will be provided for those new to the programme.

Ngā pūkenga me whai: We’re looking for someone with

• Confident and capable in teaching Mathematics and Statistics across Years 7–13
• Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum, with experience in (or enthusiasm for) the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and a genuine commitment to student success and wellbeing
