We are looking for enthusiastic, bright and motivated people to join our team and help bring our centre to life.

The Role

As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will work directly with students using the Mathnasium Method. You’ll help children understand new concepts, develop their problem-solving skills and work towards mastery of their individual learning programmes.

You don’t need to be a qualified teacher. We provide extensive training and ongoing support, giving you everything you need to become a confident and effective instructor.

We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy working with children, have a strong interest in maths and are excited by the opportunity to make a real difference to our students.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver the Mathnasium curriculum with enthusiasm and energy
• Work with students individually and in small groups, adapting your approach to their needs
• Help students develop confidence, mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills
• Monitor student progress and ensure they are working towards mastery of their curriculum
• Create a positive, encouraging and engaging learning environment
• Communicate professionally and warmly with parents about student progress
• Work closely with the centre management team to ensure the centre runs smoothly
• Contribute to the wider Mathnasium team and, as you develop, have opportunities to coach and support newer instructors

Training & Progression

We invest heavily in our team. You’ll receive comprehensive initial training in the Mathnasium Method, followed by ongoing training and support throughout your time with us.

As you gain experience, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibility, develop your skills and progress within the team.

We are growing, so we are particularly interested in people who want to develop with us rather than simply looking for a short-term job.

A-Level Maths or equivalent is required.

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is welcome, but full training is provided.
