Maths Teacher for Primary

Alani School of Excellence is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grades 5 to 7.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons according to the school curriculum.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical examples and activity-based teaching methods.
• Develop students’ logical thinking, problem-solving, numerical and analytical skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, classwork, homework, tests, and examination papers.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic performance and maintain proper records.
• Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support to students when required.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage students to participate actively and develop confidence in Mathematics.
• Communicate students’ progress and concerns with parents and school management when required.
• Participate in school events, meetings, academic activities, and other responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in Grades 5–7.
• Strong knowledge of school-level Mathematics.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to make Mathematics simple, practical, and engaging.
• Patient, approachable, and committed towards students’ academic growth.
• Experience with digital teaching tools will be an added advantage.
